Recommend it for those who appreciate a great breakfast!
The breakfast was fantastic, so many options. fresh fruit, hot dishes, you name it! And the lady serving was really sweet and made everyone feel welcome, kind of like she was family!
A bit on the pricey side, but honestly worth it.

Charming spot with a great view!
Had a lovely time here. The room was clean and spacious enough for the three of us, and the rooftop terrace was a hit! We enjoyed drinks up there while catching the sunset over Toledo. The air-conditioning was struggling a bit with the heat, though. Don't miss the breakfast, it was a delightful surprise!

We had an amazing time with friends! The hotel's perfect location made it easy to explore spots like where John Wayne and Rock Hudson filmed. We loved relaxing on the rooftop terrace with great views and soothing music after a day out. Don't miss the nearby Ecological Trail for a scenic walk. The breakfast was delicious, and staff were super friendly!
Only downside was the air-conditioning struggled a bit in the heat. It would have been nice if it handled the high temperatures better.

perfect spot for exploring toledo's charms and tranquility
During my stay, I appreciated how close I was to the stunning Chapel of San Jose, which was just a few steps away, and the impressive Alcazar of Toledo, under a 5-minute walk, allowing me to easily soak in the city's beautiful views and architecture. the comfortable single room made my solo adventure even more enjoyable, providing a cozy retreat after long days of exploration.

I loved the location of Carlos V Hotel. It’s right in the heart of Toledo, so everything is easily walkable. The rooftop bar served some of the best views I’ve seen. I spent mornings up there, enjoying a quiet moment with my coffee as the city came to life. Breakfast was impressive, offering a wide variety to please any palate. The staff were consistently helpful, giving great recommendations for local spots. On the downside, my room felt cramped with limited space for luggage. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, especially during the warm evenings. I often found myself opening the window, which was fine, but it brought in street noise that made it hard to relax at times. A few more staff at the rooftop bar could really improve service speeds during busy hours, as it sometimes felt slow. Overall, a beautiful hotel with some minor imperfections that didn’t ruin my visit but could enhance the experience.

It was just a well-suited match for a hurried visit in Toledo with great value-to-price ratio. The terrace bar had an amazing view that was worth the stay alone. Make sure to visit the terrace at sunset for the best experience.
